This is a big cat nose cast in urethane plastic that is available in black and pink, or in the custom color of your choice. The nose is 1 3/4″ wide (4.5cm) and 1 7/8″ tall (4 3/4cm) measuring the nose itself (it may be about an 8th of an inch wider/taller as part of the outside area is included. This is cast from a sculpted piece, so it isn’t cast from a real animal nose, but it is realistic looking. This would be great for most any large cat mask or project, would work as a leopard or cougar nose, or even a small tiger or a panther. It is a solid cast piece that can easily be glued onto virtually anything – paper mache, urethane foam, fiberglass, etc. The material can also be drilled, sanded, sawn, filed, etc. It can also be painted with proper surface preparation. You will need to wipe the nose down (regardless of whether you want to paint or stain it or not) with denatured alcohol, acetone or even rubbing alcohol will do to remove the mold release.
This nose would be great for mask making, reproduction taxidermy and possibly even real taxidermy (but being that it is a sculpted piece it wouldn’t do for competition work)
This nose automatically comes in pink, so when you purchase one or more noses, pink noses will be sent unless you specify that you want a black one or some other color. If you want a color other than pink or black (such as a liver or reddish brown color), let me know. It would be best for custom colors if you can provide a photo so I can match the color.
